You are probably here because something went wrong with the installation of CC and you want to remove and reinstall it. Or maybe you’ve found alternatives to it. Or you’re done with your design game and want to free up some space on your device. Those are good reasons to consider deleting Adobe CC. Let’s have a look at several ways you can do it.

Removing Adobe CC Manually

Whether you use Adobe Creative Cloud on a Mac or Windows device, you can follow these steps to remove it from your computer manually.

Step 1. Log in to your desktop account. If you lost your credentials, inquire Support about the removal process.

Step 2. Delete all the CC apps you have one by one. Look for the list of all applications you have in your account. Use the Menu beside each app to uninstall it.

Step 3. After you’ve wiped up all CC apps, delete the software.

  • If you are using Windows, open Settings in the Menu, locate Adobe CC, and uninstall it by clicking on a relevant button.
  • MacOS users should download an uninstallation program from the official Adobe Support Center. It will take a few additional steps. If you are confused at this point, read a detailed guide on how to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud from macOS.

Step 4. Remove the remaining Adobe files and folders. Don’t forget to clean the trash bin afterward.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.

Removing Adobe CC using an uninstaller

If you tried to uninstall Adobe CC software manually but no luck, download an official uninstaller.

Step 1. Make sure your content is safe. Take a moment to back up the files and folders you want to save before launching the uninstaller. You will find back up instructions on Adobe official website.

Step 2. Download the uninstaller program from the Adobe website and extract the files.

Step 3. Confirm and launch the uninstallation after the pop-up window appears.

Step 4. Hold on till the uninstallation is finished. Then click the close button. Voila! Adobe CC is gone!

As an alternative to using an uninstaller, you can try removing the Adobe CC with third-party tools.

Removing Adobe CC using third-party tools

Third-party tools are an excellent way to remove the Adobe CC apps and leftovers in one fell swoop. Download one of the tools and follow it’s instructions. That’s all!

Step 1. Download the tool of your choice, install it, and sign in.

Step 2. In the Menu, you will see the list of current apps on your device.

Step 3. Find the Adobe CC apps and mark the ones you want to remove.

Step 4. Click on the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Confirm and wait until it’s done.

Bonus: Removing the Adobe CC enterprise version

If you want to wipe up an enterprise version of Adobe CC, this bonus section is for you.

As your first step, make sure your files and folders are backed up and synced. It is necessary because they can be deleted during the uninstallation. When you are sure your files are safe, follow these steps:

Step 1. Remove all Adobe CC apps before starting the removal process.

Step 2. Create a place for the executable file of the uninstaller. It’s usually called Creative cloud uninstaller. Create a folder on the machine with System Center Configuration Manager and put it there.

Step 3. Make a new package. The folder you created in step one will serve as a specific source. Next, make a program and leverage the “creative cloud uninstaller.exe -u” command to delete the desktop Adobe CC app.

Step 4. Launch the program on every machine where you want to uninstall Adobe CC. That’s it!

Hopefully, this post helped you find the easiest way to uninstall Adobe CC apps.
